FOR MORE THAN 11 YEARS, Specsavers has been providing quality eye care and eyewear to help New Zealanders see better for longer, with a team of optometrists, optical dispensers and frame stylists providing expert, tailored advice to ensure its customers feel cared for.

Each Specsavers store is individually owned and operated by local optometrist and optical dispensing store partners who work in the store, allowing them to greater understand their customers’ needs.

Dedicated to achieving positive health outcomes for Kiwis, this year Specsavers completed a $6.5 million rollout of advanced diagnostic technology, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), an advanced 3D scan able to detect eye health conditions in the early stages. It’s now included as a standard element of the Specsavers eye test at no extra cost.

Specsavers has also developed an award-winning training program called CREATE, designed to help all team members – whether they be store partners, managers, optometrists or dispensers better serve each customer or patient by gaining a clear understanding of their wants and needs, then clearly explaining the products and options available to meet those needs.

This year, Specsavers launched its online appointment booking service, while customers searching for their next stylish pair of glasses can try them on digitally at home with Specsavers’ innovative ‘Try On’ option.
